Puppy Classes

Why choose Canine Positive Pathways for puppy classes?

I have years of experience with dogs, ever since I was a child. I have a huge passion for their care and wellbeing, with a great knowledge of behaviour and training. Not only am I a certified dog trainer, I am also a registered veterinary nurse and training to become a qualified clinical animal behaviourist.

What will your puppy learn?

Your puppy will learn basic manners such as; lie down, stay, touch and attention. We will also work on how to appropriately greet both strangers and other dogs. Your puppy will be practicing their focus skills and beginners recall and loose lead.

Why is it important to train early on?

It is vital that puppies begin learning as soon as possible. Puppies have a sensitive learning period, between 3 weeks old and 14 weeks old. This is where experiences and learning have their most lasting effects.

Where are the classes held?

The Saturday classes are held at Galmpton Village Hall in Paignton between 12pm-1pm.

How long are the classes on for?

It is a six week course, with no more than four puppies a class, to allow for maximum attention from your trainer. It is not a 'dip in and out' course, it is best if you are available for the entire course. There is also potential to progress onto an adolescent course to fine tune skills learnt from your puppy classes.

How much is the course?

£125 per puppy.
